Craving Fall

Just when I think things are getting back to normal, I go and get sick.

Yep, I’ve already had several students out sick and I caught whatever they had.  I got it sometime over the weekend and have been really struggling to teach each day, but am feeling much better today.

Last night, I was sitting on our couch shivering under a blanket and I just kept thinking that I’d love to be sitting in front of a fire and being all cozy.  And guess what that made me think of….FALL!

If y’all remember from last year, fall is absolutely my favorite season.  Usually after July 4th, I’m craving fall, but this year with the summer off, I tried to hold out.  And I did pretty good…I really haven’t thought that much about it until last night and now it’s all I can think about!

Yes, I know it’s not even Labor Day yet, but this morning I couldn’t resist going to my Fall Beauty board on Pinterest and basking in the gloriousness that awaits us in just a short month or so.

Y’all hang with me…I just have to share my favorites even if it is early!

I so want to cozy up in front of a fire like this…

…with hot chocolate or apple cider?  Even better!

I’m ready to go to the Farmer’s Market down the street from our house and load up on pumpkins. 

All I can say to that is wow.  For a fall loving girl like me, this is a dream.

Ahh…so beautiful to me!

And I’m ready to load up our front stoop with piles of pumpkins in every color.

 Can you have too many?  I think not.

And don’t forget the mums…

 And gold pumpkins?  I’ll definitely be doing this.

I’m ready to set a beautiful fall tablescape…

 And have an outdoor party…

I’m ready to take our yearly, beautiful drive up to Sky Top Orchard for some sightseeing and apple/pumpkin picking.

And I’m really, really ready for some cooler temperatures to bring out my boots and scarves.  I’ve been collecting fall outfits on my Pinterest Style Board for a while and am ready to try them out!

So fun…if it wasn’t still 80 degrees down here, I’d already be in them.

So, enough about that…until after Labor Day at least

Over the weekend (until I got sick), I was working on making some changes in our Master Bedroom.  They’ve been a long time coming and I am LOVING how it’s turned out.

I’m hoping to make a few final touches and get some photos tonight to share with you tomorrow.
